Last Updated: September 30, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of websites, applications, software, digital tools, products, physical products, digital products, customization services, and other services operated or provided by Veteran Command LLC ("Veteran Command," "we," "us," or "our"), including DTS Map products and services.

By accessing our website, creating or customizing a product, submitting information or content, approving a proof, purchasing a product, downloading a digital product, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms and any policies incorporated into them, including our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

1. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCEPTANCE

You represent that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction. If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, company, military unit, government organization, or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to act on its behalf.

Your electronic acceptance of these Terms, including acceptance through checkout or use of our Services, constitutes your agreement to them.

2. OUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

Veteran Command provides physical and digital commemorative products, personalized maps, customization services, software-enabled customization tools, proofs, previews, graphics, and related products and services.

Products may contain personalized information including names, rank, military service information, organizations, duty stations, deployments, temporary duty locations, travel locations, dates, insignia, awards, badges, logos, photographs, and other customer-selected material.

Product descriptions, specifications, available customization options, pricing, and features may change from time to time.

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or replace products, features, software, or Services at our discretion.

3. CUSTOM PRODUCTS AND CUSTOMER INFORMATION

You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information for customized products.

This includes names, dates, locations, spelling, rank, military organizations, logos, awards, badges, travel information, service history, and any other information submitted for inclusion in a product.

Veteran Command may assist with research, formatting, placement, geographic identification, or interpretation, but you remain responsible for confirming the accuracy of personalized information.

Geographic locations, military installations, historical names, national boundaries, installation classifications, and similar information may change over time or may require approximation for visual presentation.

We do not warrant that every geographic, military, historical, or organizational data point is error-free.

4. PROOFS AND CUSTOMER APPROVAL

When a proof is provided, you are responsible for reviewing the entire proof before approval.

Approval constitutes confirmation of the personalized information and design presented in the proof, including spelling, locations, dates, names, logos, organizations, and other customer-specific content.

Once a proof has been approved and production has begun, changes may not be possible and may result in additional charges.

Veteran Command remains responsible for manufacturing errors, production defects, or deviations from the approved proof caused by us, subject to these Terms and our Refund Policy.

Proofs and previews are provided solely for evaluating and approving an order. Unless expressly authorized by Veteran Command in writing, proofs and preview images may not be printed, reproduced, distributed, commercially used, altered for resale, or used to create a substitute product.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The DTS Map product family and Veteran Command products may contain original artwork, cartographic expression, graphic design, layouts, visual arrangements, illustrations, icons, legends, design elements, text, software, interfaces, templates, databases, source materials, code, and other intellectual property.

These materials are owned by or licensed to Veteran Command LLC, its authors, licensors, or other applicable rights holders.

All rights not expressly granted under these Terms are reserved.

Nothing in these Terms claims ownership over facts, geography, government works, public-domain material, third-party trademarks, or ideas and systems that are not subject to copyright protection.

Certain military insignia, trademarks, logos, organizational marks, or other third-party materials may remain the property of their respective owners and may be used under license, permission, applicable law, or customer authorization.

Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of the underlying DTS Map design, software, template, artwork, layout, brand assets, or other Veteran Command intellectual property.

6. PHYSICAL DTS MAP LICENSE

The purchase of a physical DTS Map gives the purchaser ownership of the particular physical copy purchased.

It does not transfer copyright or other intellectual-property ownership in the underlying design.

Unless expressly authorized in writing, you may not reproduce, scan, digitally recreate, trace, distribute, commercially exploit, resell reproductions of, or manufacture copies of the DTS Map design.

You may photograph your personal DTS Map for ordinary personal use, including sharing photographs showing your personal map on personal social-media accounts.

You may not use such photographs or scans to manufacture substitute copies, create templates, enable third-party reproduction, or develop competing products.

7. DIGITAL DTS MAP LICENSE

Digital DTS Maps are licensed, not sold, except with respect to ownership of any physical media expressly sold to you.

Unless a product listing or separate written agreement states otherwise, Veteran Command grants the original purchaser a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

display the purchased digital DTS Map on personally controlled devices;

maintain one reasonable archival backup copy; and

produce one physical print for personal, non-commercial display.

No other rights are granted.

A Digital DTS Map may not be shared with other persons for their independent use, uploaded to a public file-sharing service, resold, sublicensed, commercially distributed, included in another product, offered as a downloadable file, or reproduced in quantity.

Additional prints, organizational use, commercial use, employee gifts, unit distribution, corporate gifting, resale, promotional use, or other expanded uses require a separate written license from Veteran Command.

8. DIGITAL FILE SECURITY, WATERMARKS, AND IDENTIFIERS

Veteran Command may include customer identifiers, order numbers, digital watermarks, metadata, embedded identifiers, security features, or other technical measures in digital products.

You may not intentionally remove, conceal, alter, defeat, bypass, or interfere with copyright notices, watermarks, metadata, attribution information, digital identifiers, access controls, or other rights-management information included in a DTS Map or related product.

9. PROHIBITED COPYING AND COMPETITIVE USE

You may not use a DTS Map, proof, preview, digital file, website, application, builder, administrative interface, or other Veteran Command material to create, train, design, develop, improve, or assist in creating a competing or substantially similar commercial product.

This prohibition includes unauthorized:

reproduction or tracing of design elements;

extraction of templates, layers, graphics, icons, datasets, or design assets;

systematic copying of layouts or graphical assets;

scraping or automated collection;

reverse engineering of proprietary software except where applicable law expressly prohibits such restriction;

commercial replication;

creation or sale of derivative templates based substantially upon Veteran Command protected expression;

removal of proprietary notices;

or circumvention of technological protections.

Nothing in this provision prohibits independently developing a product based on ideas, facts, concepts, methods, or other material that applicable intellectual-property law does not protect.

Each DTS Map is licensed for personal display. The design is © Veteran Command and may not be copied or reproduced.

10. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MACHINE LEARNING

Without prior written authorization from Veteran Command, you may not use non-public DTS Map materials, digital product files, proofs, proprietary templates, software outputs, source assets, protected graphical elements, or proprietary datasets for:

training or fine-tuning artificial-intelligence or machine-learning systems;

building datasets;

benchmarking competing commercial systems;

generating substantially replicated commercial templates;

automated extraction of design elements;

or developing products intended to substitute for or compete with Veteran Command products.

This restriction does not purport to prohibit conduct that applicable law requires us to permit.

11. DTS MAP BUILDER AND SOFTWARE

Any DTS Map builder, configuration tool, application, website functionality, administrative software, or other software provided by Veteran Command is licensed for its intended use only.

You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to administrative functionality, source code, private databases, production systems, APIs, credentials, or non-public features.

You may not interfere with system security, introduce malicious code, overload the Service, probe for vulnerabilities without written authorization, scrape the Service at scale, or use automated systems to access the Service contrary to our instructions.

Software features may change, be unavailable temporarily, or be discontinued.

Veteran Command does not guarantee perpetual access to any online builder, digital account, or previously generated file.

Customers are responsible for downloading and maintaining permitted copies of delivered digital products.

12. CUSTOMER-SUBMITTED CONTENT

You retain whatever ownership rights you possess in original photographs, logos, graphics, text, names, or other materials you submit to us ("Customer Content").

By providing Customer Content, you grant Veteran Command a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to reproduce, modify, format, resize, convert, display, transmit, store, and otherwise use that material as reasonably necessary to:

produce your order;

provide customer support;

maintain production records;

correct or reproduce an order;

operate our Services; and

comply with legal obligations.

We will not publicly use a personalized DTS Map containing private customer information for advertising or promotional purposes solely because you purchased it. Separate permission may be requested for testimonials, photographs, portfolio use, or promotional features.

13. RIGHTS TO CUSTOMER-SUBMITTED MATERIAL

You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to provide Customer Content to Veteran Command and authorize its use for your order.

You may not knowingly submit material that infringes another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other legal rights.

If you direct us to incorporate a company logo, unit logo, organization mark, photograph, artwork, or other third-party material, you represent that your requested use is authorized or otherwise lawful.

Veteran Command may decline to reproduce material when we reasonably believe its use may violate law, third-party rights, licensing requirements, or our policies.

14. CUSTOMER INDEMNIFICATION

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Veteran Command LLC and its officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and agents from third-party claims, liabilities, losses, and reasonable legal expenses arising from:

Customer Content you provided;

your unauthorized commercial or unlawful use of our products;

your infringement of another person's rights;

or your material breach of these Terms.

This provision does not require you to indemnify Veteran Command for claims resulting solely from Veteran Command's own unlawful conduct where such indemnification is prohibited by law.

15. CORPORATE, UNIT, ORGANIZATIONAL, AND COMMERCIAL ORDERS

Personal-product purchases do not include commercial, corporate, enterprise, government-wide, organizational, or unit-wide reproduction rights.

Orders intended for employee gifting, organizational distribution, resale, sponsorship campaigns, company-branded editions, unit programs, or other multiple-recipient use may require a separate written license or purchase agreement.

The number of authorized copies, recipients, digital files, print rights, branding rights, and other permitted uses will be determined by the applicable written agreement or product listing.

16. PRICES AND PAYMENT

Prices may change without notice.

The price displayed at checkout at the time an order is placed generally controls that transaction, subject to correction of obvious errors.

We may cancel or refuse an order involving an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, unauthorized resale, violation of these Terms, or other legitimate business reason, subject to applicable law.

Taxes, shipping, duties, and similar charges may apply.

Discount programs, promotional codes, military discounts, and other offers may have additional restrictions and may be modified or discontinued.

17. CUSTOM ORDERS, CANCELLATIONS, AND REFUNDS

Many Veteran Command products are personalized or made to order.

Once design, personalization, production, or fabrication has begun, cancellation and refund rights may be limited.

Digital products may become non-refundable after final delivery or download except where required by law or where Veteran Command determines that the delivered product is defective or materially inconsistent with the order.

Physical personalized products may be subject to different return restrictions than standard merchandise.

Our current Refund Policy governs refund, return, replacement, cancellation, and damage claims and is incorporated into these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

18. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Shipping and delivery estimates are estimates and are not guaranteed unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

Veteran Command is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, governmental actions, customs, incorrect customer-provided addresses, force majeure events, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers should promptly inspect products after delivery and notify us of shipping damage, manufacturing defects, or incorrect items within the period stated in our Refund Policy.

19. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Our Services may rely on third parties such as Shopify, payment processors, hosting services, shipping providers, analytics providers, mapping providers, cloud infrastructure, software platforms, and other vendors.

Their services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.

Veteran Command is not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

20. GOVERNMENT AND MILITARY DISCLAIMER

Veteran Command LLC is a private business.

Unless expressly stated for a particular program, license, product, or mark, Veteran Command is not an agency of the United States Government, Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, or any branch of the Armed Forces.

Reference to military units, installations, commands, ranks, organizations, government agencies, or service history does not by itself imply government sponsorship, endorsement, approval, or affiliation.

Third-party and government marks remain the property of their respective owners.

21. FEEDBACK

If you voluntarily provide suggestions, product ideas, recommendations, feature requests, or feedback concerning Veteran Command products or Services, you grant Veteran Command a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use and incorporate that feedback without compensation or obligation to you.

This does not transfer ownership of Customer Content submitted solely for personalization of your order.

22. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES, WEBSITE, SOFTWARE, DIGITAL PRODUCTS, AND RELATED MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," EXCEPT FOR EXPRESS WARRANTIES SPECIFICALLY PROVIDED BY VETERAN COMMAND.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ONLINE SERVICES WILL ALWAYS BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR AVAILABLE.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ALL HISTORICAL, GEOGRAPHIC, MILITARY, TRAVEL, OR THIRD-PARTY INFORMATION WILL BE COMPLETE OR ERROR-FREE.

NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES WARRANTIES OR RIGHTS THAT APPLICABLE LAW DOES NOT PERMIT US TO EXCLUDE.

23. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VETERAN COMMAND LLC AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR PRODUCTS, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VETERAN COMMAND'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM A PARTICULAR PRODUCT OR TRANSACTION WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID TO VETERAN COMMAND FOR THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

THESE LIMITATIONS DO NOT APPLY WHERE APPLICABLE LAW PROHIBITS THEM.

24. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY ENFORCEMENT

Veteran Command reserves all legal and equitable remedies available for infringement, unauthorized reproduction, unauthorized distribution, circumvention, breach of license, theft of proprietary material, or other unauthorized exploitation of its intellectual property.

We may investigate suspected misuse and may preserve relevant records where reasonably necessary to protect our rights.

If you believe material appearing through our Services infringes intellectual-property rights you own, contact:

info@dtsmap.com

Provide sufficient information for us to understand the claimed infringement and identify the material involved.

25. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate access to online Services when we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms, compromised system security, infringed intellectual-property rights, engaged in fraud, abused our Services, or created legal or security risk.

Termination of access does not eliminate obligations that by their nature should survive termination, including intellectual-property restrictions, license restrictions, indemnification obligations, limitations of liability, payment obligations, and dispute provisions.

26. FORCE MAJEURE

Veteran Command will not be liable for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, war, terrorism, civil disturbance, government action, labor disruption, carrier interruption, supply-chain disruption, utility failure, internet failure, cyberattack, epidemic, pandemic, or similar events.

27. GOVERNING LAW AND VENUE

These Terms and transactions with Veteran Command LLC are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and applicable federal law, without regard to Virginia's conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

To the extent legally permitted, disputes not resolved informally shall be brought in a state or federal court of competent jurisdiction located in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

You and Veteran Command consent to the jurisdiction of such courts, subject to any rights that applicable law does not permit a consumer to waive.

28. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

You consent to receive transactional communications electronically, including order confirmations, proof notifications, invoices, digital-product delivery messages, policy notices, and other communications relating to transactions with us.

Marketing communications remain subject to applicable law and any available opt-out rights.

29. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms periodically.

Changes generally apply prospectively from the date the revised Terms are posted unless applicable law permits otherwise.

For ongoing Services, continued use following notice of revised Terms may constitute acceptance where permitted by law.

Terms applicable to a completed purchase will not be retroactively changed merely to eliminate rights that had already accrued under that transaction.

30. SEVERABILITY

If any portion of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, that portion will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

31. NO WAIVER

Failure by Veteran Command to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision or any other provision later.

32. ASSIGNMENT

You may not transfer or assign your rights under these Terms without Veteran Command's prior written consent.

Veteran Command may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, sale of assets, transfer of intellectual property, or similar business transaction, subject to applicable law.

33. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms, together with applicable product descriptions, written licenses, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and any other policies expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement between you and Veteran Command regarding the applicable Services.

If a separately executed written agreement conflicts with these Terms, the separately executed agreement controls to the extent of the conflict.
